Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AV's Cabinets does with personal information collected through https://avscabinets.com. It describes our actual practices.

The short version

This is a brochure and portfolio website for a cabinetry shop. It has no user accounts, no comment threads, no shopping cart, and no advertising or analytics trackers. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to type into the consultation form, and we use it to reply to you about your project.

What we collect

When you submit the consultation form we receive the fields you complete:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The project location you enter
• The project type you select
• Your indicated timing
• Anything you write in the message field

The form also carries a hidden timestamp and an unused decoy field. These exist solely to filter automated spam, contain no information about you, and are discarded.

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any special category of personal information, and have no use for them. Please do not send them.

Why we collect it, and how it is used

Solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss the project you contacted us about. Submissions are delivered to the shop’s email address through Resend, an email delivery provider that transmits the message on our behalf. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to build profiles or send marketing you did not ask for.

Calls, texts and email

When you submit the consultation form you consent to us contacting you about your project by phone call, text message, or email at the number and address you provide, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by phone or email — we will honour it. We contact you about your own enquiry; we do not add you to a marketing list or share your number with anyone else.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics package, and embeds no advertising or social media trackers. There is no cross-site tracking to opt out of, because none takes place.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, its infrastructure records standard request information — such as IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested — for security, abuse prevention, and operating the service. That logging is performed by the hosting provider under its own policies; we do not use those logs for marketing or combine them with form submissions.

How long we keep it

Consultation enquiries live in the shop’s email, kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and afterwards as an ordinary business record. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices and rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging cabinetry work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to outside resources — for example county and city building departments. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
