Fair Oaks Village & the bluffs
Custom Cabinets in Fair Oaks, CA
Fair Oaks — unincorporated Sacramento County, gathered around its old Village district above the American River — has the kind of housing individuality that catalogs can’t serve: older character homes near the Village, custom builds along the bluffs, and remodels that have layered decades together. AV’s Cabinets builds for exactly that variety: kitchens, vanities, built-ins, and doors made to order for the house in front of us.

Individual houses, individual cabinetry
A Village-area bungalow, a 70s custom on a wooded half-acre, and a new build on the bluff share a zip code and nothing else — which is the point. Each Fair Oaks project starts from the house itself: matching an older home’s trim language, or giving a view-oriented great room a media wall and library that feel architectural rather than added-on.
The community’s hand-made streak (the Village keeps its small-town, artisan character on purpose) fits a shop where one craftsman designs and builds the work.
Permits & building authority
Fair Oaks is a census-designated place; permits go through Sacramento County rather than a city building department. Official resource: Sacramento County (Fair Oaks is unincorporated).
The cabinetmaker
Every project here is designed with you and built to order in the Rocklin shop by Andrey Voronenko — the craftsman AV’s is named for — who oversees the installation. His story.
