Custom Cabinets in Rocklin, California

Rocklin isn’t just in our service area — it’s where the work gets built. AV’s Cabinets operates from 4271 Duluth Ave, so for Rocklin homeowners the cabinetmaker and the shop are a few minutes away. Custom kitchens, bathroom vanities, entertainment centers, home bars, coffered ceilings, and custom doors are designed with you, built here in town, and installed under Andrey’s supervision.

Rocklin homes and what they ask for

Most of Rocklin was built during the city’s growth decades from the 1990s onward, which means a lot of production-built kitchens are now reaching the age where owners want them rebuilt properly: full-height uppers instead of builder soffit gaps, real wood doors instead of thermofoil, an island designed for how the family actually cooks. Replacing production cabinetry with built-to-order work is the most common kind of Rocklin project we see.

The city takes its name from its granite quarrying history, and its newer neighborhoods lean transitional to contemporary — clean shaker and flat-panel work, two-tone kitchens, floating vanities. The portfolio’s Contemporary collection shows that side of the shop’s range.

Rocklin also has its own golf-course community in Whitney Oaks — which for a shop based in town means an install is a short drive rather than a logistics exercise.

Why being local actually matters

Site visits, measurement checks, and installation scheduling are all easier when the shop is in the same city as the project. Design selection happens face to face, and if something needs a fitting adjustment during install, the shop is minutes away — not a freight schedule away.

The cabinetmaker

Every project here is designed with you and built to order in the Rocklin shop by Andrey Voronenko — the craftsman AV’s is named for — who oversees the installation. His story.

Permits & building authority

Rocklin is an incorporated city, so permits that cabinetry projects occasionally touch (electrical, plumbing relocations during a remodel) go through the City of Rocklin rather than the county. Official resource: City of Rocklin building division.

Rocklin questions, answered

Can I visit the shop or see work in progress?
The consultation is the right starting point — call 916.218.2290 and Andrey will set it up. Being Rocklin-based means design conversations, sample reviews, and progress checks are easy to schedule.
My 1990s Rocklin kitchen has soffits and builder-grade boxes. Can that be rebuilt?
Yes — that’s a typical project: cabinets built to the actual ceiling height, storage designed around your cooking, and door style, wood, and finish chosen at design selection rather than from a production menu.
Who issues permits for a Rocklin remodel?
The City of Rocklin. Cabinet replacement itself is generally non-structural; if your remodel moves plumbing or electrical, the city’s building division is the authority, and that gets sorted out during design.
